Weber Carb and vacuum lines

Hi-
I'm looking to upgrade my carb to the weber, but I have 2 questions:
1st: My mechanic told me that the carter is a feedback carb, and it would be better to have one that isn't- is the weber a feedback carb?
2nd: Should I get one from my local parts store, or should I order online (I'm looking for as cheap as possible, as I'm goin' broke just rtying to get this thing running ok...

Also, the vacuum lines have been gone over by the previous owner and things are routed all over the place and blocked off in others- looking at the v.line schematic makes me freak right out- is this something I can bring back to factory specs myself, or should I get a jeep wizard to do it (my mechanic doesn't seem interested in doin' it...)
Thanks!

1st no the weber is not a feedback

2nd if your looking to save money look into getting a motorcraft 2100 from a junk yard. when u get a aftermarket carb on there it will only be a few v lines

Cool- I'm thinking that I'm gonna go with the weber, as there've been a bunch of positive things said about it on the boards- should I order it from Quadratek (or another online parts place) or is it something I can pick up at my local parts store?
Also, there's a bunch of different ones (34, 36, 38 if I remember correctly...) which one would be the best to go for?
