Weird Bang/Pop from front right wheel in 4WD Hi

Like I said in a previous post, I'm new to all 4 wheels turning, I stick to cars that have the Back tires turn and that's all, so I have no idea where to even BEGIN to look for this problem.

When I throw my '95 into 4WD Hi, I'm getting a pop/bang in my front right tire every hundred feet or so, but only while driving in 4WD. Haven't checked 4 Lo yet. It's also bouncing that side of the vehicle whenever it does it. It's not a big jump, but the vehicle def bounces whenever it pops. Considering we just got our first snow in NH (It's late this year) last night, I want to get this resolved. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I will say this, I'm amazed how much room these vehicles have under the hood, even with my inline six banger. Very impressed with everything so far.

If it were the U-joint, wouldn't it pop like this Constantly, even with 4WD off? Also, It only does it at intervals of about 100 ft. Maybe more.

yes it would but it would not be as loud in 2wd because noting is pushing it its kinda like an old ladys hip it pops louder when they fall you can check by looking at the wheel and try to wiggle the u-joint right behind it. this is amost gaurateed to be the problem. good luck
