ya those discount auto stores suck: autozone, pep boys, advance, murray's and so on. all areas are different, but those all seem to suck. you should be able to find a decent parts store, napa and carquest are usually fine. and at least in my area they service more shops, than walk in customers, so they employ people that can actually find and order correct parts.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president."

Support your local offroad shops if you can. Most of the time they can beat the price of the online places especially without the shipping being involved and they always welcome new customers. They also have a better idea of what works well with your terrain and environment. Warranty issues are alot easier to deal with also

what kind of parts do you need....napa salesman are by far the best in our area when it comes to getting engine/brake/ and electrical components......but as far as performance and/or aftermarket.....ur local shop will do u much better and stand by their product better than quadratec

i usually go to napa for belts and hoses, the autozone down here is pitiful the engine parts , dont work on the first try , so after puttin a part on and tryin it i have to take it back , so i give up on autozone . i havent looked into a local 4x4 shop , but i will maybe there is one in louisville .i just ordered a radiator from autopartsgiant.com , its was 110. with shippin included . that is by far the cheapest i have seen , but they sent me the wrong one, now i have to pay 4 shipping it back

I guess it all depends on what your shopping for. I have 1 offroad shop near me and they are way to expensive. Quadratec beat there prices by far, plus the parts came quicker then the shop getting them. NAPA, (Never Any Parts Available) by me doesnt have much but overpriced hoses and grease guns and Armor All. Auto Zone is run by a bunch of high school drop outs that dont know there asses from elbows and cant even figure out to search their computer for the correct part. (Why does it matter if I have a 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive when all I need is a price for a seat cover?? ugggh, they suck.) I do my shopping online, usually with trusted sites that I find through this forum and Ive had nearly zero problems. I personally like Northridge4x4 and 4wd.com. No problems yet with either place.
You'll be in a great mood all day because you'll be slapping all your troubles away.
