What can you tell me about my t case and driveshaft.

Hey guys what can you tell me about my drive shaft? I've been reading non stop and can't exactly tell. I've never seen what it should look like or what. I'm under the belief it's sye and a cv shaft? I say because I don't see a slip yoke. But I thought a cv shaft would have another u joint.

Yes, you have a slip yoke eliminator on your t-case and a CV drive line.

That's what I pictured in my head with another u joint! So would my drive shaft be an example of a single carden shaft? And yours be a double carden?

Not too sure about what cardan means exactly myself, all I know is yours is just non cv with a splined sleeve(slip yoke).

Well that means just add another $300-$500 to the jeep fund! Any recommendations for an actual cv shaft? Ill have 4 inch lift a 1inch t case drop and 8.8 rear. Also thank you, you saved me tons of confusion.

cjtatton on ebay NEW Jeep 1310 CV Driveshaft Cardone CJ TJ YJ XJ SYE Cherokee Wrangler Driveline | eBay good price and mine has been abused and is still great. Just give him your lengths after you put in the 8.8 and he'll build it for you. Also, forget the t-case drop since you'll have a cv shaft and slip yoke eliminator.

I can also recommend CJTatton. Just got my SYE shaft and I liked it so much, I went ahead and had him build me a new front shaft as well.
