what do i need to change from serpentine to v belts?4.2

I have a serpentine setup now but I got a few bent brackets and its all out of line. I wanna switch over to v belts. I have an idea of the parts I need but can anyone tell me exactly what I need to take off the donor vehicle? I'm going there this weekend and wanna be positive I get everything the first time

Won't work... Your water pump has to turn in reverse rotation since it is serpentine. How did your brackets get bent?

I got the Jeep with the motor sitting in the back of it and there was a bunch of stuff sitting under the motor. I know I need a water pump. I just wanna make sure I get all the parts I need off this other Jeep so I can do the swap

Maybe he can use a water pump from an older 4.2 like mine? My 90 has an old 4.2 CJ engine in it and has V-belts.

replace brackets

It might be easier to get the brackets off a doner. They are something that would not normally have to be changed out if someone is just replacing the long block.

OK. So I'm gonna get all brackets. Pulleys. Power steering pump. Water pump and fan. And do I need the harmonic balancer or is the pulley seperate?

Pulley is mounted to Balancer w/ 4 Bolts. You need that Pulley.
