What do you guys think?

Attachment 266233

Would this be a direct swap? I've got a '93 YJ 2.5L. I'm still not too sure about the whole axle swap thing.

Would this be a pain in the ass? Any insight would be great.

Great price. Just take to an 4x4 place and have it overhauled and geared for yours. Clean it up get the install kit. Search google or this page for 8.8 builds and you will get all you need to know.

If you regear that it will cost you more than pulling one yourself with the correct gears and LSD. if it has 4:10 you are good. If it is you plan on locking it and it is an open diff you are ok. Otherwise, get one with limited slip and disk brakes. You can usually pull them for $200 or little more.

You need gears that match your front which are 4:10 if stock in a 2.5. Regearing is different, then you would go to 4:88 or something like that. Just google it and why to do it for more info. Lots of threads on it. .
