What is this?

My neighbor just got a 93 YJ and it came with this stuff. We are new to the jeep scene so we have no idea what this is. Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks in advance

Lifts the body instead of the suspension. It is a cheap way to gain clearance for larger tires. You will get mixed reviews on wether or not to install it.

To lift the body(cab) off the frame to make more clearance for bigger tires.

I would never go above 1" to 1.5" on a body lift myself....

Its also used for clearance for aftermarket transfer cases, or when you clock the transfer case higher to gain under-body clearance (tummy tuck).

I personally dont have one on my Jeep, I DID have a 1" on my 99 S-10 ZR2.
