What is this soft top piece?

Bought a complete Kayline Fastrac soft top in a box at an auction...it has a new piece in a box that I can't seem to place how it's related to a soft top...maybe it isn't at all. Do any of you recognize this piece?

Isn't a Kayline top made for a boat? I had one on my bass boat is the reason that I said it.

Never knew that they made a top for a Jeep.

I stand corrected. They did do tops for 4x4's. Although they haven't been in business since 2008. They got bought out by a company called STC (specialty top company) and STC went bankrupt in early '09.

I hope you got a good deal on that "Snap on" top.

At one time Kayline was the OEM supplier for Jeep tops. Is the piece you have the same width as your soft top?

That looks like a boot I got for my soft top.
I got a small gift certificate for Christmas and the boot was about all I could afford.
Quadratec item # 91008.15
Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, maybe next month.

Yes, it's a cover for the top when it's folded down. I have one for my top.
