What is this toggle switch??

For as long as I've had my jeep, I've never known what this switch is for. It looks like it could be factory, but I have no idea. Do any of you guys have an idea? The jeep is a 93 2.5 5speed. I think the trim is the base model.

The power wire ran to my front bumper but wasn't hooked to anything. The previous owner used to pull it behind an rv so it might of had something to do with that. I was able to hook the lights on my bumper right to it. Gotta love when things just work out like that.

I just took apart my dash and found the same spot... it is set up to add auxillery stuff, like fog lights, etc... There are 3 cutouts behind the plate to easily add a switch if needed. Cool!
