Which SYE kit for my YJ Wrangler???

Looking for input on which SYE kit to get. . .Rugged Ridge has a super short one that gives me an extra 7" of driveshaft length, but Advance Adapters reputation is hard to beat. . .

. . .looking for what you guys think of the kits that you have yourselves.

Thanks!!!

have you picked your rear axle yet? i wouldn't do an SYE untill you have your rear axle in and get your wheel base set. no point to spend that money twice

I'm getting a Ford 8.8. . .

. . .the kits don't come with a driveshaft. . .I would definitely wait on ordering the driveshaft because I'm gonna extend the wheelbase by moving the front and rear axles.

The prices of the two (and ProComp's kit as well) are very close to each other. . .but the Rugged Ridge Super Short SYE kit allows for a 4" longer driveshaft than either the ProComp or AA kit. . .

. . .was unaware of the JB Conversions kit. . .checking it out now. . .thanks for the link banks316. . .

. . .I don't know much about Rugged Ridge and I'm just wondering about the quality of the internal components compared to the known quality (at least for me) of Advance Adapters.

Anyone who has used the Rugged Ridge kits please post up your thoughts and experiences with them. . .Thanks!!!

The JB Conversion kit seems to be similar in length to the Rugged Ridge kit, but I have heard of JB Conversion before and I am prone to trust their quality over Rugged Ridge (for the same price) since I don't know anything about Rugged Ridge.

I have a Rugged Rigde SYE and so far, no problems. Been installed for about 6 months and a few wheeling trips under it without issues.

I'm using the rugged ridge mega short sye. I got the sye and driveshaft both for around 400 shipped. I'm a mechanic by trade and I couldn't tell a difference in parts. If you are interested I got mine from drivetrain.com
