Rolled my jeep onto its side yesterday while wheeling. Stupid mistake. I had a buddy get me right side up, waited awhile to start it and she made it back home. Only damages I can see right now is my side is a little bit bent in so my passenger door won't close and drivers door won't close. What else should I check for damages. My front diff leaked oil from a hole on top. I got some gear oil for that. Is there anything else? Thanks.
Must of went over pretty soft. Didn't even break a window. That's how you live and learn, when you get to walk away and try another day,
I would check all of the fluid levels in everything. trans, t-case, rears, oil, water. battery. Clutch master and brake master. As well.
The front and rear diff should have vent tubes on them and routed up high into the body. Front is usually hooked up by the top of the radiator on the driver's side, and the rear is mounted up in the rear wheel well next to the gas filler hose.
'87 YJ, 4.2L built and bored, 8.5" of lift, 8.8 rear, AX15/NP 231, Tom Woods drive shafts, Flat fenders, 12,000LB winch, Custom bumpers, Rattle can paint job. Never completed...
Thank God no one was hurt. forlife pretty much summed it up. As far as the doors closing go, the pass side door striker is bent, I can tell that from the pic. You'll have to tweak the tub & doors to get them back where they're supposed to be. Once you roll one they're usually never the same.
The rain let up a little bit and I took a look. It's not lookin good. Anyone know where to get doors. I have a friend in the wrecking yard bussiness so I will ask him tomorrow to start looking. What's the price going to be do you guys think?
