I'm looking to help with performance a bit. I'm not looking to gain 300hp but just help with the hills and mud. If I put a glasspack style muffler, CAI, throttle body spacer etc on will it help or hurt? Let me know
This is a question that has been asked repeatedly. Opinions seem to be all over the place. I don't think the performance gain is worth buying any of the $200-$300 kits that are out there but you should be able to get a small performance boost with the CAI and TB spacer. It won't be much.
I buy a 20 dollar filter from advanced and a little 3 inch pipe section. Use a piece off an old glass pack to step down, do a little welding and fabbin haha and I have a cheap cold air intake. Not the best out there but it works well for me.
