Questionable, the windshield hinges on the TJ are different than the YJ's, the bolt-holes wouldn't line up. It'd probably have to be modified.

It's so hard to find a used roof rack system for a YJ

It just needs some modding most likely. Maybe an additional bracket you can fab up and attach to your windshield hinge and then to the frontal TJ rack hinge point? Heck, if you can weld you can make anything fit lol.

Is the seller close by? Maybe you can go over and try it on for size, explain to him you have some concerns about fitment. My seller let me open up the 8.8 rear carrier right on the spot to check for proper fluid level, no rust, and free rotation. He thought I was joking, then I busted out my toolbox, it's a sale or no sale right?

My best advice is to take measurements of your YJ and then ask for measurements of the rack, then you'll know about how much modding you need to do to make it work, and if it's still worth your time and $.

It is close enough and worth the drive to see where the fitment issues would be. I'm pretty confident the rear bracket will work (it mounts to the rear bumper mounts which i know is the same) I just wasn't sure about the length of the rack YJ to TJ difference as well as windshield bracket.

Thanks for your insight
