Windshield wiper motor

Hello, hoping for some words of wisdom. Preparing to replace wiper motor in 93 YJ, anyone that's done it have any advise, don't-do's, etc I would appreciate them. I will do a pic by pic and post for future questions. Thanks in advance.

I just pulled mine apart, turns out the motor was fine, but I had to replace the linkage bushings. It was actually way easier than I anticipated.. I'd recommend checking the bottom of the windshield. I had to replace the rubber seal that runs along the bottom, and clean up a little rust. I'm sure you'll get answers to any questions here, so far this forum has been my hero..

Hey great info thanks. Trying to take the path of least resistance. Switch still works (squires water and clicks) so I took a gamble and ordered a new motor on eBay ($35). Hope to only open up the thing once, guess we will see.

I got a Bushings kit off Amazon. "Dorman 49447 HELP! Wiper linkage bushing". Is the one I got, was around $5.

You can probably find one at any auto parts store.
