Windshield Wipers Acting Crazy

My windshield wipers are acting really weird now. They work if I turn the switch manually and when I switch it to a steady speed but if I put them on delay nothing. Should I be looking at replacing a relay or motor. Anyone out there ever encountered this? It's extremely annoying when it rains.

Probably need a new intermittent wiper delay module. You can get them from eBay for about $25 or $30 or so.

They're located down by your left knee, usually Velcro'd. Do a search on here... It's a pretty common repair. In fact, I have one on order now and need to do it too once it comes in.

Thanks so much for the feed back. It's a huge help, but now I seem to be having a problem finding where it is located. I've tried searching the web but not much help.

I don't see anything velcro but that doesn't mean anything in this Jeep. The guy I got it from didn't care much for it and cut every corner he possibly could. Now I'm doing my best to put everything back right. I'm starting to think it's missing it all together. I don't see it anywhere. Is it possible to not have it and the wipers still work at all?

Well I just answered my own question. I found two connections connected to one another. No module. Well I unplugged them and tried my wipers. Nothing. So it looks like the guy that owned the Jeep before me ignored it when it went out and rigged it up. I appreciate your help though. I would have spent hours and hours searching for this problem if you didn't respond to give me a jump start. Thanks again.
