wiring question

I am trying to figure out why my ac is not working in my YJ. Any Idea where this wire is supposed to connect to? It is connected to the compressor and has 2 connections into the harness and a cut off black wire at the end.

How about this large square connector? It is to the passenger side of the engine next to the cowl drain. There is also a black ground wire attached to the firewall that is cut off with about 6 inches left attatched to nothing just to the left of it.
