wrangler brake upgrade using a dd 95' booster and mc ?

ive done the search on this site as well as other and im not coming up with all the info. i know u are suppost to be able to make our brakes better using the 95' wrangler's double diaphram booster and mc, but will this work for my 87' ? all the people talking of doing it in the threads have newer jeeps than myself. i have read that the 95's mc is plastic . also i have read in some threads that u have to do something with the rod, and others havent mentioned it.is there a difference in the parts used for the different models of wrangler in 95' ? here is a couple of links for examples. i just want all info possible before i even consider this project or go to the expense of it. thanks in advance.
