One of the guys on the JK or TJ section posted this. I thought it was a great idea. I think I have seen those boxes at Walmart in the sporting goods section.

What does that have to do with any thing???

Aux switches are actually very easy.

This panel is near your right knee below the Speedo. Behind it is some pre-cut switch blanks that measures 1.46" x .83". This is a very common switch size. Easy and clean.

Here is one from Daystar

Got them through Amazon as a set of 10 switches. They come with different color leds, I got red to match my dash lights. The set was like $7 and free shipping. Here's a link, but these have the blue leds
Amazon.com: 10PC New 16A 12V Round Rocker Toggle Switch Blue LED SPST For All: Automotive

I removed the cover that has the 3 factory slots and cut a piece of thin ABS plastic to the same shape and plastiwelded it together, then drilled the holes for the switches in that. It supports them well.

I recommend OTRATTW.com i just got 3 switches made for my conversion. They are well made, they have good combination of different switch styles. Plus they can put symbols/ text on the switch covers. I had them made up for my winch, oba (future mod), aux lights, high idle, and glow plugs (i put a diesel in my YJ). Ask for Jim.

I can second those switches. I have three in my truck for the driving, fog, and backup lights. All switches are labeled as to what the lights are.

Those round ones with the light up ring are from Oznium, do a google search and they pop right up! I can't wait to install them in mine!

Hey so I am sure this is going to make me sound stupid but what is the thing riveted right above the switch panel in this pic? I am painting my dash and saw that thing... and have no clue what it is?

It is a light to light up the switches. It uses a small #74 bulb iirc.

I snagged a switch panel from an ambulance at the local JY with 10 of those Carlingtech lighted flush mounted rocker switches. Used the dremel tool and cut the panel to fit a plastic blue 3 receptacle electrical box. Got a fuse/relay box from a Saab, same JY, and removed the unwanted wiring/fuses/relays. Now I have switched auxiliary power for 5 circuits and a cheap Spod built from scratch.

Does anyone know how bright the lights are around the ring?

Right now I'm using:

Which I like cause I cant accidentally turn them on and the blue one, which powers my Rear Spotlights, is REALLY bright (can easily see if it's on in the day). I'd rather not have a cop remind me they are on :P. I could always run "notification lights" up near my field of vision if I have to but still curious how bright the circle ones are.
