YJ disk brake conversion

I just purchased a 93' YJ that has a Dana 35 axle underneath with a disk brake conversion. However, i do not know what calipers were used for the disk brake conversion so i cant not replace the brake pads. The caliper says Ford on it. Does anybody know a common ford conversion?
Thanks guys,
Craig

That's pretty odd. Only know of the ford 8.8 axle swap for disc brakes. Might be a place to start as far as parts.

I read a thread some time ago either here or on the jeepforum.com but it had I think ford rotors and cadillac calipers with the built in hydraulic e-brake. I wish I could remember more details.

Hmm. Interesting. I really would like rear disc brakes so I must investigate this as a cheaper alternative to an axle swap.

I did 2 S-10 rear disc conversions and never touched the proportioning valve. I have read on this forum some jeeps do and some don't need replaced.

Do you have a parts list? Like rotors (Make and year) $175 for everything sounds great.

So the town car is front wheel drive, right? Would you use the front or rear brake system? Crown vic and marquis are RWD so I would assume rear.

Do you mean the backing plate out? The backing plate has the parking brake shoes and the caliper bracket. You would have to open pan remove c-clip and pull both axles to get them off.
