Stock YJ's are 150-250 depending on the how the jeep was optioned. 4cyl 6cyl hard top tow package etc. most Front 4 packs are 150#spring rate 43" long and 2.5 wide

I've been running the RE 2-1/2" for about 2 years now.

The springs themselves have been fine. I have the 4.0L / soft top / Warn MD8000 on the front. No sag. I failed to measure before the lift. It looks like a full 2-1/2". Running 31's with it and the only problem I had was burying the rear up into the rubber flare until I installed longer bump stops.

Biggest problem I have had is with the Doetch shocks that came with the RE lift kit. First the rears have to go in upside down due to interference with the axle and then I blew a rear out. Just a crappy ride on the shocks. I have been holding out on replacing them because the grand plan is that after my move next month I want to go to the 4" kit and 33's.
