yj hardtop wiring

My 93 YJ does not have the wiring for the hardtop. I was wondering what was involved in running the wiring. I got a hardtop harness from a guy on ebay to run from the dash to the top and also got the switches for the dash and the dual pump washer bottle. What else do I need? any suggestions would be appreciated.

if you hook up the defrost you will need a timer relay. it is red in color.

plugs should be on the harness unless they were cut off. wiring diagram can be found on www.scribd.com

5 prong for wiper and 4 prong for the window heat. another 5 prong for the relay. for the wiper, the plug only uses pins 1,2,4&5. for the relay, all five are used.for the window heat,2,3&4 are used 1 is blank.

I have in the shed. I will check in the morning. if I remember correctly, the wiper switch has 5 prongs and i cannot remember how many the defrost has.

if there are markers on the harness plugs, wiper is c219,rear heater is c220 and relay is c301. the one for will be the one on the end of the long run of wire.

the front end of the harness has 2 big plugs, one grey and one black. it also has a few small single wire plugs. it has a red relay marked "heater backlite smart relay" . I am going to pull dash cover off to see if plugs are tucked in there somewhere. I have the factory fog lights installed so am hoping plugs are around there somewhere.

are those two plugs the plugs for the switches? look at one of the plugs. the one for the relay has some kind of red marker on it. do you have any pics of what you have?

the 2 plugs are the main ones to attach to the main harness. the small plugs are for the dome light and the parking brake. no other plugs. I looked under the hood and found the plug for the rear wiper wash motor but did not find plugs under dash for the switches. on the fuse block is a spot for a fuse to go and it is hot on the one side.
