Ouch. Check the voltage and amperage coming out. Don't need a fire when on it off road.

We just had rain for a few days and I know it leaks in the area near the fuse box. I'm thinking it just got wet.

I just replaced the fuse. It worked for a fee seconds and then stopped working. Weird thing is the new fuse did not blow. It is fine. Ideas on my next move?

probably time to replace the blower motor. It's not expensive and only takes a couple of hours. Might as well replace the heater core while you're in there

I looked at the Electrical connection on the heater and the plug looks pretty nasty. I'll give it a good cleaning and see if this is the problem.

Gave the connections a good cleaning both at the switch and at the heater box. Still no go. I checked for power at the heater box and fuse box both are good, at the switch to turn the fan on there is no power. Did this with the motor running. How can there be power at the fuse box and heater box but not at the switch? Confused. I pretty new at diagnosing this sort of thing.

Just went out and jiggled the wires from the switch on the control panel. It worked for a sec then stopped.

It's got to be the switch, but I cant find one anywhere. Seen them for TJ's, but not YJ's. Ugh
