yj lift kit questions

i have a 92 yj. it was hit a while back before i bought it. it is now a little uneven on the sides, about and inch off. i bought a 3in lift kit so i can cut down on one side to even it out and raise it a bit. i was wondering... do i have to extend any lines or anything with the 2 in. im REALLY new to jeeping, about 3 months :P

the only way it could be uneven on the sides would be if the body was twisted in the accident...if the frame was tweaked it wouldn't drive straight down the road. Measure the FRAME to the ground in 4 places (same place front and rear) and compare to see if the FRAME is off. If the frame is okay, then it is definitely your body/tub being whacked and nothing you can do with a lift kit will straighten it out and it's not recommended to even try that...it will screw up the geometry of the frame and suspension!
Check the body mounts-maybe on one side it got hit enough to bend them down?

the jeep drives stright as can be, and i measured the height of the from on the for corners and they are off too. the lower side (passenger side) leaf spring does seem to be bent a bit.
