YJ light bar?!

I know this isn't in the External Lighting section, but do any of you have pictures of your light bars on your YJ jeep wrangler? Just want to see some personal pictures of them

How much more wind noise from that light bar. Looks great and I am sure it works great but how much wind noise.

I was thinking to put one on the hood.

Swap to a 4BT diesel in the future? Most likely.

Fyi im not sure how kjg26 has his mounted but mine is with light bar brackets that go down to the windshield hinges and are pretty thick metal that also double as armor for the windshield frame when riding on the trails.

I get very little, if any wind noise at 55mph or less. I haveny gone faster than that yet since installing the light bar :-P

Total cost for the brackets, light bar, and wiring harness = 569. The light bar is an Engo and the bracket is fro. HMF fabrication here in the states. I coated the brackets in Magnet Paints Chassis Saver that I had left over and loved the finish so I didn't go matte black for a coat on top of it. The brackets come as bare metal, no primer.

I only have a 12 inch, no big bar yet. It's blinding for something so small my crap cell camera doesn't do it justice. First light picture is my lows and second is just the bar

Man I would love to have one of those 55" bars. The best thing about LED's from an electrical standpoint is the fact that they draw minimal current. Do you guys run them on relays or just off a good switch?

I bought from Jeep Addons Chris here on the forums but it appears their company filed for bankruptcy. I would avoid ordering from yhem but they are still accepting orders if you want to take your chances. The setup I got was a 50" Engo that comes with the wiring harness and switch. The bracket I also ordered with the light bar and it is from HMF fabrication. They are located in georgia if my memory serves me correctly and they are some well machined chunks of metal. I highly advise painting them ASAP to avoid rust. As previously stated, I used Chassis Saver from Magnet Paints if you like the way mine looks.

Also, if you have a snorkel, your main concern is probably similar to mine - will it fit??? The answer is yes. But be prepared to run out to the hardware store to buy bolts that are a bit longer and the fitmet will be very snug but it is doable.

I like your set up. I have been thinking about doing the 40 or 50in on my 95. I have seen the OffroadLedLightBars for sale but not to sure. Also the Illumination Led light bar but haven't heard anything about those. I just can't wrap my head around spending more than a grand for a Rigid Industies.
