YJ Light/Electrical question...

1995 YJ 4.0 V6

I'm "Electrical dumb" so once again, I'm turning to the ole WF for help. All lights were working just fine, until... I decided, for cosmetic reasons only, to replace my tail lights, head lights, and both sets of orange lights. They all look great and everything works except my front Right square orange light(parking light, turn signal). When the bulb is out all together the side marker light doesn't work either(I'm assuming the circuit is broken with the bulb out). I have a brand new bulb in and it is not lighting up... Side marker works just fine until I pull the bulb on the one in the front.

Why would it stop working??? Thanks in advance!

-Billy

Check to see if you put the bulbs in correctly....you have to make sure to line the pins up with the right slot. If not, it will go in but not make a connection

You may not have a good ground at the right square turn signal light. Your side marker light will still work as long as the turn signal has a bulb in it, it will complete the circuit.

Have you tested the socket to see if you have power at the socket. If so...check the contacts in the socket and make sure they are making contact with the bulb contacts.

I have seen bad bulbs come out of a new box. Swap it with the one on the left and see if it works.

I just got a 91 YJ and had some screwy electrical problems with my tails lights. For me it was changing out the 20A fuse. Fixed everything. Check your fuses yet?
