If you have any time/miles at all on this engine, you should start with a sparkplugs and rotor tune up. Would not hurt to take it out in the drive after dark and stare into the engine compartment with NO lights or flashlights on (looking for SPARK leaks).
AFTER those two..... if you still have issues......suspect fuel....
