Some of the stuff was bought, most of it was built. It has been tested at Evans Creek ORV park, Liberty and The Naches trails. Some of the best and most difficult trails in Washington. And surprisingly enough, not a scratch on it. Works great, no more bent springs.
I took the boomerang shackle design to Laser Cutting NW and had them cut the axle brackets out of 3/8" A36 cold roll steel(a little over kill, but they're not going anywhere).
The bushings and hardware at the axle brackets are stock YJ spring bushings and bolts. You're right, those are stock YJ shackle at the Heim joints. I got the shackle/bushing kit from Crown Automotive, real reasonable.
The only paint is on the axle brackets and frame brackets. Everything else is powder coat(Auburn Powder Coatings).
Attached is a picture of how the cross member is mounted. I just took 2"X2" 1/4" angle iron drilled a couple of holes in it and welded it to the frame.

It pretty much explains how and why I did what I did. I got ask from a member on another forum "how much" and when I responded, I was promptly booted off the forum for breaking a rule.
