You drive a Jeep YJ, DEAL WITH IT!!!!

You bought a YJ it has square head lights. If you didn't want square you should have bought a CJ/TJ/JK. Deal with it!!! The square head lights are PROVEN!! to light the way better for you then round! Be happy that you have a Jeep because in a few years its going to be pretty hard to get one if the EPA/Whitehouse have their way!!

You bought a Wrangler and you complain about gas milage...... you want great milage buy a F'ing compact car. When you lift a vehicle that has the aerodynamics of a barn door, bolt on 500lbs of armor and throw 35" tires on it, you are going to get shitty gas milage.

Complaining about oil leaks/rusting. You bought a Jeep that is 20+ years old, what do you expect? Showroom ready? The Wrangler was made to be used and abused then put away wet. You are going to have rust. Cut it out weld new sheet metal in!

O'k I guess. Did someone pee in somebodies corn flakes today. FYI, I kinda feel the same way. It's kind of hip to be square (lights). Now I'm dating myself.

I've pretty much decided to convert just one head lamp to round and have the best of both worlds.

Plus, I should be able to get the conversion kit for half price.

BDK----- amen brother. my jeep has square head lights. i know its a real jeep because it sez JEEP right on the side. when we go wheelin its always my square headlights leading the way. usually a few round head lights behind me waiting to see how bad it is before they try it. only been pulled out once and it was a real bad trail------ name of the trail is JEEP EATER

The headlights seem to be a touchy subject

I like mine too and I think the YJ's look more manly than some of the others, but that my opinion.
I don't get too upset as long as people don't make fun of them or say they aren't a real Jeep, I am always glad to take up for the others too.

I think the YJ Renegades are weird-looking and have never understood how/why they sold them, but my buddy has one and loves it. I sure don't give him a hard time about it.
We are all the in same family.

I suppose I must be a Jeep Hippie......All Jeeps are welcome at my place no matter what kinda lights they have.....my Willys doesn't have lights in it yet, I may put some square ones in it and blow peoples minds

As the Newbie in the room.... I liked the Square headlights when I bought her, and didn't realize that other jeeps had round headlights til I joined this forum!
And I am good with the leaks and the minor fixes I am having to make to her... mostly to fix the POs engineering or lack there of! Nice rant!

I will try to help any body that's got a real problem, and I thank you all for the help you have given me, but if you don't know Squat, don't buy a 20+ nothing, ! Sorry I guess this is a HIGH JACK.
