1 day in Colorado

Last May, we spent 18 days camping, jeeping, and hiking in Moab. Unfortunately we will not be getting back there until October of 2012. This May, i will be driving to Longmont, Co., then on to Tacoma, Wa. Then on the 25th of May I will be back in Longmont, & have one day to go wheelin' before headign home to PA. I have done some research on the Lefthand Canyon trails. Any one know first hand about this and the adjoining trails? I realize it is too early in the season for any high elevation treks, but am looking for good advise for my one day adventure... Thanks

My club goes to left-hand all the time for a quick day trip. It does get busy on the weekends, but it is a blast to visit.

Cool , are you with the club out of Longmont? I've talked to them and got positive feedback, I'll be going on the 25th of May... Call in sick and meet up ...
