100 Mile Wilderness, Maine

Im planning some sort of camping/exploring trip for next week and I may head up there. I know about Gulf Hagas, the B52 and KI. Is there anything else up in there that I need to check out?

I'm so new to jeep world and have no idea of where any good trails are around Maine. Any suggestions of a good "starter" trail is?

Just head north of Moosehead. Hundreds and hundreds of miles of dirt roads. You could get lost for days up there and never see a soul

Is there any trails up there that are hard and good places to camp? Not just dirt roads

Yes, there are literally hundreds of miles of dirt logging roads up in the NMW area north of Moosehead. Some currently used for logging operations, some that havent been used for years. The latter could get real nasty and you could get real stuck and help is a long ways away. Really, NMW area is the closest thing we Northeasterners have to BLM land
See northmainewoods.org for maps and camping info
