Just looked and you can rent a Rubi in Moab for under $1000 a week. If I get a trip through there I guess I'll have to stop for a week or so.

I factored $3 a gallon as an average, which is $0.40 more than it is here

I get to Moab for free then $1000 for a Jeep. The thought of driving 1000 miles for free just don't sound like a good time. Last year I drove 130,000 and less than 1000 for free. lol

That would be great. You don't have to come to my house if its off the path. But I don't think you are a guy who'd turn down a free meal

Seeing as I live alone and can't cook for crap, a home cooked meal sounds great.

I think that would be wise...I can make an excel sheet for all the participators. I'd like to meet anybody I can along the way; forum member wise.

Theres nothing wrong with that as long as you intend to "re-do" the lift yourself, I bought mine lifted Its nice to have super fun with your Jeep while you save to lift it more

However I would really like to know how a stock YJ handles

As long as it has a D44, I plan on 35's later on. I found a nice one: 97 Jeep Wrangler Lifted

I'd buy it just cause it has a snorkel, you wouldn't want to hydrolock it in Moab...
