I'm going to sign up but there's a very slim chance that I won't be able to attend. Most likely I'll be there!

Spring Texas Spur Fee Increased $30.00

It's bad enough I won't be driving my own Jeep this year (couldn't afford to upgrade the rear axle yet and my Jeep is out of warranty, long story) but then I see the fee jumped from $265.00 in 08' to $295.00 for 09'. I shot an e-mail to kathy @JJ to find out why prices went up. I bet the fee's at Oxford are up too???

Yeah but think of all the money you're saving by not driving your Jeep.

So my biological clock wakes me up so I head to the laptop and commence to registering. I'm typing along and it won't let me register. I'm like WTF?? It's Monday, 1 December right?? I check the ole' clock on the PC and yep, today is the 1st. So I start doin' some reading and I see "Registration doesn't start until 9am Pacific". Huh, Pacific?? We're Central. So now I got to do some serious math...9am Central, Texas is two hours ahead, I think...um...9 plus 2 carry the 5 is...um...my jeep is an 05' with 33" tires, 3.73 gears...damn not enough fingers. This is my 3 JJ, No, wait, shit...um..11 am Central!!! Right?? Guess I'll try while I'm at work. I hope the corporate computer Nazi's don't block JJ from my work pc. I'm going back to sleep

I wish JJUSA would get their head out of their butt and get their website working better. This happens every year.

Sure, I usually roll out first thing in a.m. on Thursday to secure optimal camping set-up. Will you be working that afternoon?? I am flexible on departure time.

you'll be happy to know that i got soft door uppers (whatever the hell you call em....the plastic window things). so, if it rains again, we wont be wearing panchos and freezing our asses off while everyone with tops points and laughs at us

Slow your roll, sailor. We're talking about loosing some major "cool points" if we go straight up city boyz, like some people we know (they know who they are). They're the one's w/doors, heaters, and a top over their heads....No siree, we can't move to Beverly, Hills that is. Like we used to say in the Military, "if it ain't rainin', we ain't trainin". Wet, freezing, and about to roll over is the only way to travel!!!!

well.....you know me. first off, i dont have a real top, so the doors dont really seal to anything. 2nd off, i dont have a heater (i dont think. i cant remember if its connected or not). its more like, instead of being dripping wet and freezing (iirc my only warm article of clothing got soaked, so you bought me that jacket LOL) we'll be slightly damp, and able to get out of the wind in the event its freezing

and thanks to scout for not laughing. i admit, the laughing when we were attacked by killer bees was worse than the laughing when we were getting soaked

I'm just poking fun at those "other" jeepers. I ride with you rain or shine..warm or freezing...through killer bee's...after thunderous floods...late night rescue attempts to the moutaintop in the pitch black to inspect my "broke ass rear axle" again...Jeep Brothers 4 Life!!!
