A little Tucson wheelin...

Joe, Lisa, and I headed down to Tucson over the weekend to wheel a bit with the Tucson Offroad Club. None of us wheeled with them before so we said what the hey and headed on down. The trail is called "The Sutherland Trail", it had a couple of spots that were fun and we even got the trail leader's husband to flop his buggy. I don't have all of the pictures yet, but here are a few.

Supposedly it's my fault that Joe clearanced his oil pan on a rock. Hell he never changes the damn oil in it anyway so I see it as a good thing that the leading edge of the pan is now higher than the exhaust.

Oh hell, you don't need the oil pan to be smooth. Mine's still dinked in good and runs fine.

Cool pics

Cool pics
They 4 cyl. pan is much smaller. Actually as of right now we think to change the oil he's going to have to take the filter off and start it. Drain plug isn't happy.

Nicolas, I know there are more pics, but I don't have them yet. I know Lisa took some and another of the TOR group had a camera as well. I'll post the rest tomorrow. We got some good shots of Ice on some of the falls coming out of Mt. Lemon.

You are correct for mud. For rocks they work better running backwards.

It did turn out to be a nice day. At 8 that morning it was 27 degrees and I had a hoodie and a jacket on. Joe showed up with some damn thing on it head that made him look more like a nun. By 11 it was in the 60's and was primetime short sleeve weather.
