Alabama Hills, CA

Got my lift and tires installed the other day...took it for a spin, to shake loose bolts and stuff sort of speak....

Loaded camping ger, booze and girlfriend in the Jeep on saturday morning and set out South-East...

150 miles later at the request of my hungry GF, we stopped at Tom's Place to have a lunch and beers...

After delicious meal and cold glass of Real McCoy Amber beer brewed in Mammoth Brewing Co....I was ready to get back to the Jeep and continue our journey...

Couple turn left...couple turns right...and we were in the heaven...Alabama Hills...

I got so carried away with driving that totally forgot about taking pictures...but then again my GF is not the best photographer I mean it....there is always a finger or something in the view... So to make long story short, we settled to camp in the Tremors land just before the sunset...

It was a good day...

Can wait for tomorrow....

There are so many great places off highway 395 in California. I could spend years just wandering around in that area. I need to spend more time there. With Death Valley pretty washed out this fall maybe I will need to head North. Check outthe White Mountains area and the cool old Bristlecone Pines.
