Another AZ wheelin thread

Threw some gears in my rig and then some of us headed out to see what we could get into on Sunday. Looks like we achieved our goals.

It was vertical enough that when I tried it I just didn't have enough wheel base to get a good run on it. So I had to exit more to the left. When we dropped down into that wash the red XJ went down that line because on his 33's he couldn't get the clearance to get down the way Joe and I did. I had a winch line on him from the top so that he wouldn't go over frontwards.

Yeah, the gears are great. I think we might head over there and drop you boys into the fun on Saturday.

Ben, you takin any one with you to the cleanup? Since I'll be running all over the place with the cleanup on Saturday I'm thinking of just taking the ZJ up there and leaving the heep at home. You gonna have an extra seat?

cool, you should run the ZJ My nephew called shotgun over a month ago when I mentioned the trail cleanup to him. I double checked with him today again asking if he's sure...lol... he's anti social but give him a video camera to keep him busy and he's a good dude to have along. He's actually expressed alot of interest lately after I've been showing him photos of my recent trail runs with you guys. *plus I've got to get him away from the rock band and video games for at least a day.

Sorry James. I've been busy as hell. I did get some envelopes yesterday, but had to do the thing with ch. 3 today. I'll get them packed up and out tomorrow.

Oh, and I just took ALL my stickers off except for my WTFIDP. So I'm sure I'll have room fora sticker to our site and a Rats sticker.

I along with a couple ladies from the BLM did an interview for Channel 3 news today about the cleanup this weekend. I did say on the other board that there would be a piece on the news tonight. Just didn't say that I was going to be in it.

I just hope I don't look or sound like a tool. He took like 30 minutes of video that will be stuffed into a minute and 45 second feature. Maybe they won't show me and just play my voice.
