Another Sunday on the AZ Trails

Joe (Absolute Offroad), his wife Lisa, myself, and a few others headed out yesterday to a popular rock spot north of Phoenix. We ran a couple trails named Lower Terminator and Collateral Damage. Terminator is a pretty vanilla trail for us, but like only we can do managed to make it interesting. Here's some pics for you all.

First ones are from Terminator.

And then my lucky moment of the day came next and I don't care what anyone tells you. The stock spare tire carrier with a 35" tire on it can save you. In this one i'm balancing on it. They all figured they'd let me sit there for a moment and think about how I just almost went over backwards.

The rest of the pics are from us running Collateral Damage. Great trail with some pretty trick waterfall's.

Here's Joe holdin our buddy Russ's rear end down. He was about to dump it right there.

Joe's wife Lisa taking a line that none of us had ever seen before on this obstacle. And she drove out of it.

And me taking the more standard route thru.

Overall it was a good day had by all. About 75 degrees with some clouds. Everyone made it thru fairly unscathed.

Yeah, the first ones were from a milder trail. However Joe and I decided we would try to climb this rock out crop that we'd never seen anyone do before. We were just messing around and look what happened to me. If I would've went over we would've played hell getting me out of there.

Ahhh come on Scout. Bring them flat fenders out here and put them to work. We are actually very good at getting all kinds of rigs thru different trails. We got a guy with a front locker and rear trac-lok on 33's thru Collateral Damage on Sunday. Not everyone's rig is built the same. Joe and Hackle's rigs are built way better than mine. I'm not ashamed to take the winch or strap when I need to. Hell I had to get strapped on one of the waterfall's on CD yesterday by a Toyota.

Ok, I should have said, "the idea of taking my DD on the trails you guys were on, scares me."

It sure looks like a blast though.

Jeeperman- your sig almost made me laugh my Coke through my nose! I grew up in Muskegon and there was this one HUGE Ford truck with a front d-shaft only named the "Half Dead 2". Guy had painted on his rear bumper NO FAT CHICKS. Awesome, beat to hell truck...
