I'm a lone jeeper that is looking for a fellow jeeper to off road with around the Milford sand and gravel area... Thanks

New to jeeps, just got a YJ and have a new strange behavior of looking at every construction sight and trail hoping to get off the paved road... Is this normal?
Anyway, we are close to Milford, where can we go?
