Anyone planning on going to the Dummond Island Jeep Jamboree in MI

Its june 13th - 15th, I've never been to any Jeep or 4x4 events and was wondering what the Jamborees are like?

I may give it a try, but have to wait until next month to decide (see if I have the "extra" money laying around). I have talked to a lot of people that have had a really good time at that particular Jamboree though. If you have never been, I would recommend that you go at least once to a Jamboree just to see whether or not you like it. Some guys don't wheel unless they are at a Jamboree because they love it so much, and some guys will drive 100 miles out of the way to avoid one because they don't. Everyone has their own opinion of them.

EDIT: Great pictures Greg, quite the hike for someone in your neck of the woods!

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

My Boy Joe did that trip for us last year but if you go to www.JeepTales.com you will see a link that says "PAST EVENTS" we have covored over 50% of the current JJUSA events from around the country. In a few days I will be posting photos and video form Arch Canyon Jeep Jamboree, covored by my friends from OK; Allan & Jackie.

JeepTales.com is a labor of love... We just want to help folks learn as much a they can about an area to help them make a decision about the trip.

I have been to over 20 Jeep Jamborees and visited with tons of folks and I have yet to meet someone who did not feel the trip was worth every penny.
