yeah.. i added 2 10k tow hooks on the rear the day before my last trip.. they really saved by butt.. =D my fav trail was washed out right at a hill that is a straight 4' drop to begin with.. i didnt expect for it to be about 14' straight down instead.. it was like 2 months since i had last been down it..

and andrew i dont get what you mean?

luckily the guys from moa's club had some multi channel walkie talkie's, so most people could talk to eachother, and they had some extras. but cb's are the way to go.

Moa I maybe in if you want to go. It is 3 hours down there for me. So I would be going for more like 2 days to make it worth the trip. I am trying to get my lift on and tires in like the next month. Dave would you be in??? Bring the kidletts- I am sleeping in a tent and a sleeping bag I am broke so yea!

Referring to the trip at the end of summer who is going to camp for the week? I don't want to be the only guy out there roasting marsh mellows and getting attacked by bears lol. Would be nice if we could get a camp site at the badlands so we don't have to tear down every morning. Maybe that is a possibility if we ask.

k because I just looked and i didn't see anywhere that it was possible and the campsite up the road wanted 100 bucks a week. So I am getting my budget setup now for that trip and also my upgrades coming in the near month. Dave you ready for a terribly long but extremely fun weekend- got a lift coming, front bumper, rear bumper with tire swing out and jerry can attachments. some 33's and BL,MML.

well I am gonna get my little plastic tools out and see how far I can do things wrong before I get to sit back and watch you do it with a coffee in my hand! lol. Really I can handle it but always fun to have a few guys over with pizza and beer/ mountain dew. listenin to music and wrenching. I am also putting together a box of stuff to bring with - spare parts I think would be a good idea being so far from home.

Gettin a CB too.

btw you need to run to circuit city for that same head unit I got. I will put it in free of charge lol. IT is amazing to listen to music without it skipping going over bumps!

So I went to buy the new steering and hi steer arms this past weekend and I realized I had almost no $$ left to finish the new axles. So I talked to the shop teacher here at school who also happens to be a friend of mine and he's gonna get me the DOM. Im just gonna tap it directly for rod ends then Im gonna get some 1080 cold rolled steel or maybe a few blocks of aluminum and mill my own hi steer arms. Another buddy is a master with the CNC mill and he's gonna draw up the part and run it through for me. I just gotta get him some dimensions and I might model it for him on another program so he can see what I want but the bottom line is Im savin a good $250 this way. Then I wont smack my tie rod on any rocks
