What dave said. I was out there stock with some sticky tires and I climbed and went into places I didn't know were possible!! If you happen to get stuck more then enough of us out there to get you unstuck and moving along again.

Is there some real challenging stuff too? Stuff that will give 36's, beadlocks, frnt/rear lockers, and long arms a run for its money. Honestly, Im gonna have fun no matter what. Just wanna try and give this thing a good workout since I only recently started to wrap up my axle swap and new tire/rim combo. Might have a doubler by this trip as well. I've been wanting to go to the badlands for a long time now, pretty excited.

To answer your question yes there is stuff there that should never be tried lol. They held the rock crawler nationals there. That is the back end of purgatory and also on orange trail.

^^ When do you think your going? I would like to tag along and snap pics and try to keep up for some of it

I wish my jeeps suspension was all setup already and the tranny was behaving. I love to take a roadtrip out there.
I looked it up on google maps.
It would be a 835 mile trip and about 13-14 hours.... another roadtrip to add to the "places to go" list. Maybe later on in the year, end of summer or early fall. Still warm enough to camp.

Yeah when I went a while back I got stuck in a big old mud puddle and I flagged down a guy who said his buddy would have no problem getting me out. Well 5 mins later his buddy shows up and I about creamed my pants. This thing was a mini monster truck. It was on a 4 runner body burned the same fuel that top dragsters do. Needless to say he rolled down did laps around me and pulled me out by just putting his vehicle in first and letting off the clutch. It was insane. His next upgrade was going to be nitrous. I asked him why he said Why not lol. He then disappeared into the thick woods joining his other beast friends that were climbing big freaking rocks that were almost straight up and down!!!
