where are you YJ? (besides "in a house" )

btw that turbo eclipse.. man i'm in love with that thing lol. Its a freakin beast. You floor it it has a bit of lag but a moment later pulls up to 80mph in seconds. It burns up the tires when shifting to 4th.

Ended up being the oil line that feeds oil into the turbo, i gues it must have come loose and was leaking. While i was underneath the car, i replaced the hose that goes from the turbo to the oil pan too since it was a bit chewed up..

im not pulling them out of the 35 bc i want to keep it complete in case i tear anything up.. since running the d44 i cant swap anything else but the complete axle

ok that sounds good, and tripple88a yeah those turbo eclipses are awsome, but i have 411s in my 4.0 yj and i spin them in 4th on the pavement!!!! but anyway i live in roanoke virginia south of everyone. so i don't know i guess everyone is north of here. maybe sometime we can go to the chatroom and make a personal room and chat this out, so we can all be on the same page at the same time. its what everyone wants to do, i hope some of you will decide to camp, i'll bring a grill and some t-bones if someone would like to bring some drinks or other stuff, just holler at me in the chatroom or pm me anyway lets just here some good idea's i might bring a welder i don't know yet, we'll see!

awesome, well if a dana 44 is sitting in the garage...i might try to break my d35 hahha lol no i will hopefully put a tru track limited slip in there before i go, i know what people say but to hell with that, i know the spider gears are week, but i am very gentle unless i am in mud..lol, anyway i'll bring what i can, parts wise. i wish i could trailer my jeep up there but i guess that wouldn't make sense now would it... so who is gonna take me in when i am broke down 600 miles from home...huh?????????lol

oh yeah, i don't know if it is a badlands requirement, but does everyone have a cb? pretty much a must so you don't come gearing over a hill, when someone is stuck on the other side.

although, my best friend still did that even with a cb, and ran into the back of me once. pushed my tailgate in a little, hooked up a tow strap and pulled it back out.

naa thats around 30 mph hahhahhaha lol i don't know its not fast, i dont' want it to sound like i am geared way down, i hover around 3 grand at sixty in fifth so i guess its close to average, better than 3:07s or whatever is in a stock 4.0 axle. dave stop looking for a hotel and suck it up and camp like a man. i have an extra cb if anyone needs one. and moa, i guess so much for my plan to get a d44, maybe i can find a good cheap ford 9 inch before i come up there, i don't know its not even summer yet i just need to chill out, if anyone wants a dana 35 (dumb question) i will have one for sale soon.

sounds good.. axle swaps are always fun =D today on spike they put in a ford 8.8 in the back of a cherokee..

and yep.. camping is a must.. since your coming all the way from virginia.. i wouldnt mind packing up my tent so you dont have to haul yours all the way (assuming we bring up the pop-up camper for me and my girl).. i know you'll need the room in the jeep =p i dont know if you plan on bringing anyone with you or not.. ill most likely be driving by myself, my girl will drive by herself.. so we will have PLENTY of room for stuff like that.. oh my tent is 21x19' and 6' tall in the center.. sleeps 12 =p

ill be able to pack some fold up chairs, cooler, portable grill, i got some camp fire hotdog sticks, and im sure ill get some more goodies for camping by then =D

well i still don't know if i am coming up there by myself or not yet, so i don't knomw what gear i will be packing, i do some backpacking everynow and then so i have a tent that packs small, but it is also small so i don't know. it would be a miracle for me to do the swap by the time we go, amongst all the other things i have to do not jeep related so we will see. i just worry about being stuck there ahhahah. couldn't be too bad.

=p.. i should have all my stock suspension off when we go.. if you break something, we can come back here and grab it.. ill bring my tools and everything, i dunno about hauling control arms and shocks and everything tho =p as long as its not a tc/tranny problem, i think ill have you covered =D plus i got a couple friends in the porc jeep club up at purdue thats only 20 miles from attica

the only thing someone in my jeep club has broken there has been an air filter for his factory lockers on a 4 door rubi and we are still wondering how it happened

i was thinking when every one shows their zip, we can see where most are and whats the way so let say 2 people are coming from my way.. another 2 are from north.. etc, we can meet and then meet the other 2 or something.. sort of like in groups and then meet as we get closer...

any one wants to ride with me?

you pay there.. its 20$ a day, 30$ for a 2day pass i believe.. and 5$ a passenger..

i live in 46902.. but bre (my gf) lives in a small town about 5 minutes out of kokomo.. so we are leaving from there.. are you guys planning on taking 54 or 65 into laffeyette? i assume you will take one of those roads

its sort of out of the way for us to drive through laffeyette but if you guys wanna meet up there with us im sure we can make the extra trip.. laff. is a straight shot down 26 for us (30 minutes away)
