How far upstate are you....rausch creek offroad park is in PA, probably a few hours drive. And a really great 4wd park.

It's called pittsfield state forest. They have about half dozen off road vehicle trails. It's decent size, it's no rausch creek or badlands but it's a good time. You can definitely spend a day there.

ok but wait the website I found for pittsfield state forest and it said this... Trail vehicles
weighing more than 1000 pounds such as four wheel drive trucks or Jeeps are
prohibited from DCR trails under state regulation.

I've been there 3 or 4 times, guess I'm a bad boy. Jeez thanks for the heads up. I've wheeled with trucks and jeeps back there and no one ever mentioned anything. Either the rules have changed and they didn't update the site (there were no signs or warnings in the park) and nothing that says anything about 1,000 pound limit etc... I have ran into a few ATV's in the Forrest to and had no problems, only a friendly wave. Either it's not enforced or no one cares.
