BIG BEAR TRIP july 13th

im going to be in big bear on july 13th, and i am very interested in doing some difficult trails. mabie gold mountain or BULL. if anybody wants to meet up for a day off good old fashioned wheelin post up!!!! i can also do the 19th because i will be up their for a week.

Hey me and my girlfriend have 2 jeeps we might head up there for that her dad has a jk with a hemi so us 3 might meet and show up the tocomas!

sweet. what do you guys think of doing the day of big bear on july 14th it is a sunday . ( it is either sat or sunday 13 or 14th). i would prefer the 14th so i dont have to miss any work.

Ran gold mountain today its pretty tuff they added a few new obstacles but if you got lockers rear and front you will be fine

What about holcomb creek? There's obstacles but there are by passes you can take

New guy here( to this forum ), I could be in for this run.I ran Holcomb creek last week ,it was fun.
Holcomb creek starts out of green valley rite?long before Fawnskin?

Holcomb starts right about where fawnskin my girlfriends family has a cabin there and we run it all the time

The trail I thought was called Holcomb creek trail began off 3n16 bout 2 mi north of crab flat CG....Holcomb valley is by Fawnskin? I'm probably wrong

3n16 is the end of Holcomb creek or the back way but yea you start on Holcomb vally and it leads you to Holcomb creek

It depends on how much of a beating you want your jeep to take I would recommend a lift for that trail
