Chafing at the bit

We're headed to the Needles, Thursday PM, the 27th of April, to be in Moab early Sunday afternoon, rest up in Hotel, get supplies, then 5 days and 4 nights in the Needles.. I'm currently checking all our gear, dotting I's and crossing T's ... Hopefully this time out, I'll be able to convince my wife that we can, and should retire somewhere in the 4 corners region.. The more we go out there, and spend over 1200 on gas doing it, the easier my convincing should become.. my current line is, " you only go around once,, no regrets". Any help out there? I need a better more convincing line..

04' Rubi, with all the gizmos we need for long range excursions, / home modified excursion trailer;

96' Lexus 450, locked, loaded and ready to roll..
