Colorado break in!

OK, so we got a 2012 JKU Sahara about a month ago and have yet to give it a proper off road journey.

Line in Oklahoma but we are heading to Breckenridge in a few weeks for a little summer vacation. Seems like a great opportunity to introduce her to the trails.

Any guidance on a good trail or two that would be an easy, scenic and safe trip for a stock '12 a wife that doesnt want to put her jeep in danger and 2 kids under 12?

South of Breckenridge there is Kite Lake in the town of Alma. Dirt/rock road nothing too technical but a good bumpy ride for wife and kids. Pretty lake. Road is about 6-7 miles.

Boreas Pass is a nice starter trail that runs from just south of Breck over to Como. From Como turn right onto pavement, then you can go south to Fairplay and then back over Hoosier Pass to Breck. Drive back to Breck is all pavement, but quick. Or, turn back and do Boreas in reverse. Places to stop along the way, and scenic. Was one of the first trails I took my wife on and now she challenges me to do harder and harder trails.
