Looking for some info on Trails in Colorado...I'm just starting out so would like some info on some decent trails to try my new lift out on. Nothing to extreme but maybe a little challenging.... Any Ideas..??

I am in Colorado and frequently wheel in the mountains, nothing too extreme just fun semi difficult trails. Pm me for more info and maybe meeting up with us and having some fun in the mountains

Colorado is a big state with great trails all over. According to the US Forest Service web site, Blanca Peak is open... Blanca Peak Trail

Check this link for what I think you are looking for...
Traildamage.com - Trails List. Scroll to the Colorado section.

If you are in the Denver area, I recommend you investigate Mile-Hi Jeep Club. It's more like a dozen clubs in one with their individual "Patrols".

Anyone know when Hidden Valley/Dakan road is supposed to open? I went up there the other day and found the gate was stilled lock. I thought April 1st but maybe the recent snow caused a delay...

Where are you looking specifically? Denver area, Colorado Springs, Boulder/Fort Collins area, or more south/north?

I will be heading out to CO the week of June 9th. I will be with my family and would love to find a nice trail or two. I am not exactly sure where in Colorado we are going yet but my guess is Colorado Springs or in the mountains.

I am planning on being in Ouray around July 5. Any chance of getting together for some mild wheeling?
