Deep Creek MD

Just got back from deep creek Md. Had a great time but the highlight for me was the wheeling we did. Unfortunately there was only 1 trail open, but it was a lot of fun! Will post video and a pic or two.

We went past swallow falls park and got onto a state park road with camp sites and snowmobile trail signs. From there we found a "dead end" sign and went up there. This was just a gravel road that went to a turn around area. But if you looked in the same direction as the road kit appeared to continue over a rock. Rock is totally crawlable. Once past there it was pretty easy with like 3 mud areas and plenty of turnarounds. Get to the top and there was a ditch stopping all traffic. Apparently, this is also the MD, WV state line as well.

Not legal wheeling.

Talked to a local and he said it was all good. Then a Ranger came and he only asked if we were from MD. No problems.

I found a great place to wheel in N. VA!! It had sand pits and creeks and tons of space! I found this fence and it was unlocked so me and my buddy drove all over, just had to watch out for these numbered flags all over.

Even if the gate is opened or unlocked.

Im a local here at deep creek. Thats actually a road, Snaggy Mountain road. The snowmobile trails actually take you to Harrington Park. Ive been back that road a few times. A few small puddles and some drainage ditches to get muddy. But basically just a gravel road thats not taken care of. Its perfect to just put in 4hi and go sight seeing. Hope you enjoyed!

Here's a quick run, stopped to snap a few pics.
