Awesome!!! Great pics. Summer before last my wife and I made the trip from New Orleans to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Canyonlands NP, Arches NP and Moab Utah in an 09 2 door JK pulling a small utility/camping gear trailer. Know what you mean about the bugs and wind noise with the soft top. We actually use ear plugs. Went to the Smokys this past summer and plan to go to Colorado and Yellowstone next. This is a great post. Great experience for kids too. Great job!!!

Awesome place, I was lucky enough to grow up within avfew hours of there. We owned some land years ago outside the west entrance, I was fortunate enough to snowmobile in the winters thru Yellowstone. Summef camping on our land, truly an amazing place. You did yourself and your children a huge solid going there. Havent been there for years now. Simply beautiful! Glad younhad a great trip!

Yellowstone is on my bucket list! My oldest son was into dinosaurs too. Have fun!

My oldest son was big into dinosaurs. When he was little we used to build cities out of legos, get his tyrannosaurus rex, crank up blue oyster cult "Godzilla" and tear the lego city up... lol.. Also you might want to play the song "I'm a Paleontologist" by They Might Be Giants for your daughter LOL.

I'm going to revive a long dead thread here.

Wife and I are planning a trip in June to Yellowstone. I will be towing my Jeep out there behind our motorhome. Any suggestions for us?
