Holy cow, thanks for all that info taz! Thats deff. gonna make it a lot easier for people to find a place to stay that dont want to camp. If you an make the ride and give us a heads up on what we get to look forward to then that would be awesome. It would be really cool to have a report an hear what its like out there.

cherokee980, Thats a pretty good idea. Im sure she wont have any problems with it. Especially since she'll actually be able to shower. Still, lemme ask her and see what she wants to do. Haha, and dont worry, she farts too. Maybe we should get them a seperate cabin

Haha, yea sorry about that guys. Been busy lately with the holidays and all. I'll post up a new poll to see how long people want to go first. Then we can plan the weekend we go for.

Hmmm, is it even possible to edit my current poll? I think from here on out we just have to discuss things without a pole. So I will just make one on my thread posts and you say what you vote for.

So, How long should the trail ride be?

A. It should be a 2 day weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
B. It should be a 3 day weekend (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
C. It should be a 4 day extended weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)

Vote either A, B, or C accordingly. If it ends up being that we want a 4 day event than Thursday will probably be a day to roll in and meet people early and get settled in. Then probably a light trail ride later on. Then we would get to the tougher stuff the following day. Thanks for your votes!

I just saw this thread. I have no idea how I missed it up 'till now. I'll talk to ecksjay when he gets home. We were looking for a good wheeling trip this summer, been thinkin' about the U.P. but this might inspire change.

You can probably count us in for four in attendance.

I say we just call it a (4) day ride, and folks can show up when they can. I am most concerned about WHEN we are going to do this!! We really need to come up with a name for this ride as well!! Don't cha think?

Alright, I just wanted to be sure everyone was cool with a 4 day thing. So I will grab a calender and take a look at some weekends in late summer. Late July or early August was what I was thinking. Far as a name, lets hear suggestions I guess. Haha, how about the East Side Trail Ride?

When we get together are we gonna start using first names?

'cause I'd rather pretend like all of your parents hated you.

Yea, good idea to give names now. Im Jeff. Now, I think the dates Michael gave are good (haha, its weird usin real names). So now, another official pole to decide when this shin dig is gonna kick off. Obvisiouly, vote for the date you'd like this event to take place.

A. July 24-27
B. August 7-10
C. August 21-24

Please put the letter for the dates of your choice.

I got a vote for C. I also think we will go with cherokee980's suggestion on the name of the ride. Its simple and self explanatory. The WF Summer Meet & Greet

Thanks Texapple! Haha, if you guys say any of the dates are fine than your vote will get put for C. So just be sure you dont mind. I think doing it later will give people just a little extra time to be prepared.
