I would deff. be up for that! But I say we change it up every year. Just as long as we keep it on the east side...close to Michigan, haha. Hell, this location was decided on because it was half way between me and cherokee980. I'll tell ya, there are some great dunes here in Michigan that are a blast to play around on. And I have a buddy with a full off road park on private property. But thats not until next year so I'll leave that for later.

I am all for Tellico!! We can run Trail 1, to trail 6, then to trail 4, then to trail 1. That is a good ride for folks that are stock to mildly built.

Tellico would be great. I just hope they keep everything open and we can still plan on it for next year.

Sorry, I have been busy here at work. Looks like I will be able to make some up for the ride with no issue, I will just have to get a good idea of how many people want and what sizes.

I may just use CafePress for the WF t-shirts and then take orders for the Meet and Greet.

Kind of up in the air right now. But still very much on the radar.

Yea, no rush...we got time. I was jsut curious if you had chosen the design you were gonna use or whatever. Also, can you get a female style shirt made? Maybe a tank top or somethin? The g/f is stoked on the shirts and wants one too!

I am sorry to report my weekend may be cut short for you guys. My wife is due to deliver our first baby on Sept 7. So I doubt I should leave here alone for more than a day or two. So i may just be down there to enjoy day long ride.

Haha, I know there are a lot more people comming! Just no one has been as on top of this post. So lets start taking an official count. We can add people as we go if some people arent sure right now.

Boul-Glad you decided to check it out. If you can go, deff. let me know. That way we can make the ride all the way out to KY together. Its gonna be real boring if I have to do it myself. I'm about 90% sure I have a nother buddy comin in his YJ too though as long as the stroker Im building him goes in without to many problems.

Looks like Im skipping the front D44 and going right for a matching D60 instead. Its out of a 79' F250, still high pinion with lockouts and 4.10 gears, just larger ring/pinion and shafts now. And still $200!!
Also, instead of buying claytons long arm only kit Im just going to build it myself. Save myself the money I need for the SYE and DS. So Im gonna start buying johnny joints and some DOM tubing. Think Im gonna go with 1.250" dia. with .250" wall and do rubber bushings at the frame end.

Thanks a lot! It may take a while. As soon as class gets out Im just going to park the TJ in the garage and put it on jack stands for about a week or two probably. If I can get the dimensions for how long the arms are then it will go fast. Im also going to be doing a new cross member thats just a flat piece of metal if i have time/resources so that theres nothing to hang up on and to improve clearence a bit. Not sure exactly what my frame end control arm mounts are gonna be though. Maybe tie them into the cross member. triangulated rear though for sure and 4-link front probably.

I'd like to be in on this as well. It's about 5 /12 hours from me. I have to check with my daughter's school schedule though to me sure we can swing it. I haven't read all this thread, but I did up to the point of camping. We like camping as well and have all the gear.

Yea, I know Im only 19, about to turn 20, but I really think its important to do something fun with your kids. Getting them involved with off roading early on is awesome because they will learn to work on vehicles, have fun out doors, and take care of the environment (Im a big believer of the saysing "what ya pack in, ya pack out").

In my case, the daughter is stoked about camping and 4 wheeling. I got her introduced to camping last year. My wife on the other hand comes from a family of going to hotels rather than sleeping in the woods, she's breaking through that family mold though. Our first trip this year will be to Turkey Bay, it's alot closer.

Yea, we considered Turkey Bay but decided on Black Mountain becasue it is free and just has tons of space. My mom is the same way, she's all about hotels but its all guys in the house (dad, brother, and I) so she has kinda had to deal with camping and such.
